2020 marks the 67th anniversary of Carl's Tavern. The tradition of this family business starts even earlier than that! 1933 to be exact, but that is another story. Over the last 67 years Carl's has been a Pittsburgh landmark.
The first location was in Braddock, PA and then expanded to several other towns throughout the Pittsburgh area. Carl's only remaining location today is right here in Wilkins Township, where we have proudly called home for the last 52 years.
Carl's introduced the Car Burger and Pittsburgh's one of a kind fish sandwich 67 years ago serving over 1 million meals to our Pittsburgh community. Carl's has maintained a family value system, remaining strong to our roots, yet knowing how to change with the times. Our core being solid, consistent, and great food, served by an attentive and friendly staff. We look forward to another 67 years carrying on the Carl's tradition for future Pittsburgh generations.
